Bucket reveals it’s not Lamp he’s after.
(Snippet written by lbardugo!!!!)One moment they were sitting next to each other on the grass and the next Bucket was on top of him, his eyes blazing with so much hurt, so much intensity. “I’m not just something you kick when you feel like it,” he said angrily."No, Clock. Look.""Look at me," said Bucket."I’m looking.""Whoa, hey, I know… It’s just Lamp—""I know you’re wound up over her, but I didn’t come here for Lamp. She’s bright. She’s beautiful. But she isn’t what I want.""What do you want?" Clock whispered."There’s a hole inside me. Henry couldn’t fix it. Liza tried. I think you could be different.""Me?"Bucket sighed. “You always did run a little slow.”
Well, I’ve written my first slash. I guess it was inevitable. I just didn’t think it would involve SO MANY PUNS.
One of the best statements made at this year’s Oscars.
Cate Blanchett wins the Oscars on more than one level
"A villain is in control. A villain is a mask of elegance and style, behind which is a whirring and brilliant intelligence. But the trick is to make it all look easy."
Oh, wow. That is brilliant.
↳ One of Hans’s verses subtly reveals his true intentions…
"I’ve been searching my whole life to find my own place."
As he sings this line, he gestures to Arendelle. This is a demonstration of Hans, in a sense, claiming the kingdom of Arendelle as “his place.”
According to Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, the song’s lyrics were created in such a way purposely, as it’s meant to stand as Hans’ official villain musical number, though disguised as a love song to keep his villainous intentions a secret until the third act of the film. However, once the truth was revealed, the song’s dark side was meant to be more apparent.(x)
I’ve been waiting for someone to make a gif of this. YUM.
This renowned photo was taken by Jeff Widener.
A Chinese man stands alone to block a line of tanks heading east on Beijing’s Cangan Blvd. in Tiananmen Square on June 5, 1989. The mystery man immediately became “Tank Man,” a powerful symbol of non-violent resistance. The photo became one of history’s most vivid depictions of an individual taking on the power of the state.
Looking tiny next to the hulking tanks, the man swung one of his shopping bags up and over in a “shoo” gesture.
More ppl should know about Tank Man. So courageous.
